The photo shows two young, slim men dressed in jackets with white ribbons (wedding favors) pinned to the lapels. A wooden fence of sticks and an lush garden are visible behind them. Apparent from the description of the owner of the photo it was taken in the Pnikut Village in 1943 and it shows two cousins; 1943, Pnikut Village (Mościsko region, Lvov region) ; The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)
