The photo depicts a woman, three men and a boy standing next to an old stone structure – an arched gate. Two men on the right side of the photo are dressed in elegant suits, the woman is in a dark dress, the boy is in a bright shirt and knee-long trousers; the man on the left is in a forester’s uniform and a hat. According to the photo's owner, it depicts Wacław (...) (first from the right) and his acquaintances: Stanisław and Maria (...) and their son with a forester. It was taken by Stefan (...) in the village of Parszów next to the ruin of Stanisław Staszic’s factory (which no longer exists) ; 1946, Parszów, voiv. kieleckie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
