The photo depicts a group of people posing for the camera in front of a timber building. Sitting in the middle of the first row among the guests there is the young couple. The woman is dressed in a white dress and a veil; the man is dressed in a suit. On the back of the photo there is the following inscription: "a) Saturday, October 1937; b) the wedding of my grandparents, parents of my father, Janina (...) and Władysław (...); c) it was taken by a village photographer, the late Ignacy (...), residing in the village of Kruszyna; d) the photo regards the village of Cegielnia located near Kruszyna; e) the photo concerns family (...) [of the groom] - sitting next to the groom is his mother Amelia; the woman next to the bride is her sister Regina; the youngest man at the top is the brother of the bride - Władysław (...) ; October 1937, Cegielnia near Kruszyna ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
