The photo taken in a photographic studio in 1926 depicts a newlywed couple in their wedding clothes. According to the photo owner’s account, these are Stanisław (…) and his wife, from Volhynia, where he lived on a farm with his parents – settlers from the Poznań province. Prior to that, he worked as a miner in Germany, in Westfalen. ; 1926 year, Volhynia ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
