The photograph shows a group of several dozen wedding guests in festive clothing, along with a young couple posing for a picture in a well-tended garden, against the background of a tall building (manor?). The young couple are sitting in the middle of the front row. The woman is wearing a white dress with a veil, a man is in a military uniform. Among the guests are several men in uniforms and many young girls in bright dresses. Among posind there is a priest and a little girl ; On the back of the photo there is an inscription: The bridegroom Jan (...) from the village Będźmianowice near Czersk, Chojnice district with the bride Wanda (...) and guests of a rural wedding, ca 1934 ; ca 1934, Będźmianowice village near Czersk, Chojnice district ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
