The photo depicts three young girls in white blouses and dark skirts posing for the photo next to a table with a vase of flowers. The photo was taken in a photographic studio. The inscription overleaf says: “Village girls, club artists. The village of Wołcza-Dolna. 15th April 1939 (...)” ; 15th April 1939, Wołcza Dolna (district starosamborski, region lwowski, Ukraine) ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
