Wilczyce site 10 was discovered in 1994 during the surface research organized by PhD Hanna Kowalewska-Marszałek from IAE PAS as a part of the Archaeological Survey of Poland project (AZP 88-73/10).The site is located in the commune of Wilczyce, Sandomierz county, Świętokrzyskie voivodeship. The stationary excavations began in 1998 under the supervision of Dr Janusz Fiedorczuk. After his death, the research from 2004 to 2010 was headed by Professor Romuald Schild.
