The photo depicts four festively dresses women posing for the camera in front of a decorative wall hanging. One woman is sitting; she is wearing a white blouse with puffed sleeves, a waistcoat and a skirt with a frill. There are three women standing behind her – from the left: the first one is wearing a bright elegant dress, the second one - a dark blouse/dress with a white collar, the third one - an embroidered blouse and an embroidered waistcoat. According to the photo's owner, it depicts the participants of a church holiday in Irządze ; 1935, Irządze, district Zawiercie, voiv. śląskie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
