Description:

The photograph shows six children of several years old (3-4 years) sitting on the windowsill on the ground floor of a brick building, and a middle-aged manwith about 7-8 year old girl standing in the yard under the window. Children are dressed in every day clothes, a man is wearing a suit and the older girl has a checkered dress with white collar and white socks and dark slippers. The building looks very neglected ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
