A photo shows three adult siblings. Two sisters are standing on the sides of their brother, who is sitting in a chair, holding hands on his shoulders. The photo probably was taken inside the house. The women are dressed in traditional skirts and embroidered jerkins. According to the relation of the owner the photo shows (from the right) her grandmother Anastazja[Anastasia], grandmother’s brother Mikołaj [Nicolas] and his sister Zofia [Sophia]. It was taken in 1924 in Czortków ; The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)
