The photo shows three young men posing for the picture. The sitting man is dressed in a winter military coat and jackboots. Two others are standing, one dressed in a uniform, the other one in a festive civil suit. There is an inscription on the back of the photo: “The photo shows Aleksander [Alexander] (…), Franciszek [Francis] (…) and Andrzej [Andrew] (…) all born in the Żminne Village, 1921” ; The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)
