The photo shows a group of men and women working in the field, digging up potatoes. They are posing for the photo next to a wooden cart. Some of them are holding agricultural tools (hoes) and baskets filled with potatoes. People are accompanied by a dog. There is an inscription on the back of the photo (mostly illegible since the photo was removed from the album, along with the written paper): “this card is for Kazik [Casimir] because there is a horse even if it’s not clearly visible, only a cart. But Filut [Jester - the dog's name] can be clearly seen, so pull his tail so that it doesn’t wag. Grow up well, Kazik, so that you’ll be big. Hug you, little (…) Tadeusz [Thaddeus]” ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
