The photo depicts a group of a dozen or so people, mostly women, holding hoes and bent down over a stubble. The women are dressed in work aprons and have headscarves wrapped around their heads. Among the group there are three men in foresters’ uniforms. There is a large forest and a meadow in the background. According to the photo's owner, it depicts, among others, forester Wacław (...) during the planting of a forest near the village of Majków ; May 1935, Majków, voiv. kieleckie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
