The photo depicts a newlywed couple accompanied by some more couples – wedding guests. In the first row, in the middle, there is the bride in a white dress and a veil and the groom in a suit with a bow in the lapel of his jacket. There are two mixed-sex couples standing on both sides of the newlyweds, women are wrapped in very long bright shawls / throws. There are three more couples standing in the second row. The photo was taken in front of a large brick building and wooden door (to a barn?). ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
