There is an inscription at the bottom of the photo saying: “Taken in May of 1942. Pupils of the compulsory Agricultural Vocational School in Oleśnica, a division in the village of Grabowa during practical training. Subject: staking tomato plants. Taken by vocational teacher (…) ; May 1942, Grabowa, Busko-Zdrój district, voiv. kieleckie ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
