The photo shows a group of young people (two boys and four girls), at all ages playing in the snow. Everyone is dressed in winter clothing: jackets, sheepskin coats, hats and headscarves. In the background rural buildings and a frozen lake are visible ; According to the owner, it is a photo of her brother Tadeusz [Thadeus] and his friends on the lake by the sugar factory in Dobre. In the distance, houses in Fabryczna Street can be seen ; 1942, Dobre ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
