The portrait of a woman elegantly dressed in dark, simple dress buttoned up to the neck, with a stand-up collar clasped with a buckle and a protruding lace collar. The woman has dark eyebrows and lashes. There is an inscription on the backof the photo: “Warsaw 30 X 1917 for a memento…” the photo was taken in Warsaw in 1917 ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
