The Internet revolution accelerated this process so considerably that today a new stage of the information revolution is being predicted. An essential paradigm shift touches also the area of IS/IT There is a much stronger need for an efficient information management Junction in a modern organization. This should lead directly to a proper information policy and information strategy for the business.
