The purpose of a real telecommunication network is to keep lervices on the best obtainable level. In order to do this, a network with overflows is often proposed. The idea boils down to collecting unserved parts of traffic from several lines (primary lines) and putting them together to another line which is not so busy (secondary line). In [3] a model of such network is presented which let us - examine generał losses in a secondary •line, - fix a necessary number of links in a secondary line for chosen grade of service, describe a distribution function of losses in a secondary line, - compare various strategies of control (e.g. different connection of streams). But in some situations it is also important to d?compose the generał losses in a secondary line again into individual streams. In the article the oryginał method (based on probability theory) enabling such a decomposition is proposed. The results are presented and compared to other methods. Although the ·method waą proposed for a telecommunication network, it may be used for other networks with overflows when uncertain information is obtainable.
