The influence of temperature on solid state culture of Aspergillus niger
Committee on Biotechnology PAS ; Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS
Models of temperature effects on solid state fermentation kinetics are discussed. It wasshown that logistic curve equation describes fungi growth also in nonisothermal conditions.Cultivation of Aspergillus niger on mixture of wheat bran and beet pulp was investigated in thetemperature range of 26 - 40 °C. Models were compared with experimental results and energyof activation and deactivation were calculated.
