52 dragonfly species were recorded in the years 1993–2005 in the middle part of the valley of the River Bug, the biggest non-regulated river of Poland, as well as one of the largest rivers in the Middle-Eastern Europe. Faunistical, zoogeographical and sozological aspects of the fauna are discussed
