Abstract:

Celem artykułu jest podsumowanie głównych tendencji w rozwoju postsowieckiej historiografii ukraińskiej i umieszczenie ich w szerszym kontekście współczesnych wyzwań stojących przed naukami humanistycznymi, w tym rosnącego wpływu „polityki tożsamości”. Autor opowiada się za istotnością kontekstualnej analizy debat historiograficznych oraz wspiera zasadnicze znaczenie zachowania akademickiej wolności i otwartej debaty.
