Abstract:

Carbon and nitrogen removal in dependence on the retention time and pollution loading was investigated using biomass immobilized inside macroporousceramic carrier. Efficiency of carbon removal was 78%, nitrification rate - 91,7%,denitrification rate - 64,9%, when the technological parameter were: volumetric loading 5,9 g/dm^ x d, hydraulic retention time 34 min, intrinsic recirculation 50 dmyh.
