Abstract:

In our previous study on hepatogenic encephalopathy (MOSSAKOWSKI, 1966a, 1966b) we suggested the possibility that the blood-brain barier abnormality connected with diffuse and severe glial changes, might play an important role in the formation of cerebral tissue lesions in this condition.
