Abstrakt:

Dokonano przeglądu najnowszej literatury (321 artykułów naukowych z lat 2010‑2021) pod kątem wykorzystania zdjęć fitosocjologicznych w badaniach środowiska przyrodniczego. Przegląd systematyczny objął artykuły opublikowane w najbardziej renomowanych czasopismach (indeksowanych w bazie Web of Science Core Collection, o punktacji ≥100 według wykazu Ministerstwa Edukacji i Nauki z 2021 r.). Poszukiwano odpowiedzi na pytania: w jakich dziedzinach nauki i praktyki zdjęcia fitosocjologiczne znajdują obecnie zastosowanie, a także do jakich celów oraz w jakich skalach przestrzennych są najczęściej wykorzystywane. Artykuły podzielono na 10 grup tematycznych (m.in. klasyfikacja zbiorowisk roślinnych, zależności między roślinnością i innymi elementami środowiska, wskaźnikowa rola roślinności czy długoterminowe zmiany roślinności). Wyniki wskazują, że najliczniejszą grupę stanowią artykuły, w których zdjęcia fitosocjologiczne były wykorzystywane do określenia warunków siedliskowych wpływających na rozmieszczenie i różnorodność gatunków roślin oraz tworzonych przez nie zbiorowisk, zaś najmniej liczną – opracowania łączące badania przyrodnicze i społeczne. Dominują badania prowadzone w skali lokalnej i regionalnej w danym kraju (241 artykułów) oraz mające charakter transgraniczny (47); mniej powszechne są prace o zasięgu kontynentalnym (19) i globalnym (7). Przeważają opracowania dotyczące Europy
