Abstract:

Trials of biodegradation of hydrocarbons from the ground were carried out with the help ofmicrobial consortium isolated from soil. Microbial consortium of the highest biological activity, which was first adapted to high concentration of hydrocarbons, existed in polluted ground.Biodegradational process was carried out on a laboraty scale. Concentration of hydrocarbons inresearched ground was estimated by gas chromatography method. During the twenty day longprocess 25% of hydrocarbons contained in the examined soil was removed.
