B-D-galactosidases - sources, properties and applications

The rapid development of the world industry requires the introduction of new technologies which are more effective and cheaper. Therefore, the application of enzymes in different industry sectors grows steadily. This article reviews some properties and applications of B-D-galactosidases derived from microbial sources.
