Muscle segment examination in light & electron microscopy

Abstract:

Diagnosis: Suspected Myopathy. In the obtained slice, muscle fibers of the correct diameter and structure form bunches separated by a trace amount of connective tissue. The enzymatic division of the fibers is maintained correctly with a slight predominance of type 2 fibers. The activity of respiratory enzymes and ATP-az are maintained correctly. Conclusions: the morphological picture does not differ from the morma. Ultrastructural analysis of the collected specimen showed no changes in the fiber architecture
