Abstract:

Biochemical alternations developing in the cso-called early rejection of the allogenic liver transplant were studied. These studies wereccarried out on dogs. Experimental animals were divided into three groups: Ist-orthotopic liver transplantation without immunosupressive treatment; IInd-orthotopic liver transplantation coupled with immunoopressive treatment; III rd-dogs subjects only to immunosupressive treatment without liver transplantations. Results of these studies evidence-was an increase in blood serum blirubin level. High level of bilirubin in blood serum experimental animals signals that alrealy irreversible alterations in liver parenchyma develop , thus making useless any trials to institute an immunosuppressive treatment.
