Muscle segment examination in light & electon microscopy

Abstract:

A 52-year-old patient with suspected Pompe disease was examined. A biopsy of quadricepssinister was performed.Electron microscopy analysis revealed muscle fibers containing numerous vacuoles (Figs. 1­7).
