Object description:

Grot oszczepu - Tarnowa pow. Września. Do analizy pobrano jedną próbkę: CL-600

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Results:

Próbka CL - 600 - W stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się dużą ilość, równomiernie rozmieszczonych wtrąceń niemetalicznych w postaci siarczków miedzi. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę ziarnistą o bardzo dużym ziarnie. Twardość: 111 HV 0,15. Przedmiot prawdopodobnie wykonano na drodze lania i następnie wyżarzono w ciągu długiego czasu
