Object description:

Siekierka - Skarbienice gm. Żnin. Do analizy pobrano jedną próbkę: CL-168.

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Results:

Próbka CL - 168 - W stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się niewielką ilość porów powstałych prawdopodobnie na skutek wykruszania się wtrąceń niemetalicz¬nych. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę krystaliczną o dużym ziarnie. Twardość: 240 HV 0,1. Przedmiot wykonano na drodze kucia prawdopodobnie na gorąco.
