Abstract:

In the area of the middle Danube river, within Marcomannic-Quadic cultural circle one can distinguish an ephemeral cultural group which represents Przeworsk settlement. The interpretation of ancient written sources presented in this work indicates a coincidence of this group with the Vandal etnos, and going further - with its certain group, which appears in the sources under the name of Victovali
