Ethnologia Polona 33-34 (2012-2013)
Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology Polish Academy of Sciences
It involves a large group of researchers from several countries, whose aim is to collect visual materials from various countries in the region, showing who and how used to be marked as stranger or foreigner. Here I present the main points and conclusions resulting from the implementation of the current phase of the project, limited to the nineteenth and mid-twentieth centuries
