Abstract:

Phymatoplata halsteadi sp. nov. is described from tropical Africa. The genus Phymatoplata was previously known only from single species - P. asperula (Fairmaire, 1897). Lectotype and paralectotype are designated for Selinus asperulusFairmaire, 1897.
