Description:

Study of the seasonal variation in the stomach contents of coney rats, Reithrodon auritus (Fischer, 1914), collected in a native grassland of the southeast of Buenos Aires Province, shows that diet of this small rodent is exclusively constitued of plant materials, mostly grasses.
