W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań nad spermatogenezą hybrydów żubra z bydłem domowym uzyskanych w Zakładzie Badania Ssaków PAN w Białowieży. Do badań użyto jądra trzech samców pokolenia F1 w wieku 1,5-8 lat i 12-tu pokolenia B (¾ bydła, ¼ żubra) w wieku 0,5-4,5 lat (Tabela 1). Materiał kontrolny stanowiły jądra 10 letniego żubra. Obliczono średnią powierzchnię kanalików nasiennych i liczbę komórek w poszczególnych stadiach przypadającą na 1000 żubra) w wieku 0,5-4,5 lat (Tabela 1). Obliczono średnią powierzchnię kanalików nasiennych i liczbę komórek w poszczególnych stadiach przypadającą na 1000 μ2 powierzchni kanalików (Tabele 2, 3). U hybrydów F spermatogeneza zatrzymuje się na poziomie spermatogoniów lub spermatocytów I rzędu.
