Przebadano 9241 okazów Sorex araneus araneus L. pochodzących z odłowów na stałych powierzchniach typu Münstera, na terenie Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego w latach 1949-1958 (Tabela 1). Zwraca się uwagę na wpływ metodyki odłowu, aktywności zwierząt powodowanej wiekiem, stanem dojrzałosci płciowej, rują, karmieniem i wychowywaniem młodych itp. czynników na stosunek płci i proporcje grup wiekowych w materiale, uzyskiwanym z odłowów na stałych powierzchniach pułapkowych.
