Abstract:

In biosynthesis of celluiase using T. reesei QM 9414 and its mutants, wheat straw and saw-dusts frombirch and common pine were applied. These substrates after milling were pretreated thermally under pressure and chemically 1, 2, and 3% wheat straw and 1% saw-dusts were used. In the medium containingwheat straw cellulose MN-300 was added at the ratio of 3:1. The highest activity of 3,4 FPU was obtained using mutant-M, after 8 days of cultivation in the medium containing 3% wheat straw.Addition of cellulose had a minimal effect on the level of FPU activity, but increased the ^-glucosidaseactivity. Saw dusts were weaker inductor than wheat straw in celluiase cultivation of T. reesei.
