Abstract:

Some achievements in the search for biologically active substances derived from mycelial cultureshave been selected and reviewed. Special attention has been payed to polysaccharides showing immunostimulating, and antitumor activities. The cytotoxic, antibiotic, and antiviral substances of the sameorigin have also been discussed.
