Object description:

Siekierka - Pióry Wielkie pow. Siedlce. Do analizy pobrano dwie próbki: CL-1469 A i CL-1469 B

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Results:

Próbka CL 1469 A - W stanie nie trawionym obserwuje się bardzo dużą ilość drobnych siarczków miedzi o ułożeniu równomiernym. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę drobnokrystaliczną. Twardość A: 131 HV 0,15. Przedmiot wykonano na drodze kuciu, prawdopodobnie na gorąco. Próbka CL – 1469B - W stanie nie trawionym obserwuje się dość znaczną ilość siarczków miedzi oraz korozję międzykrystaliczną z wydzieleniami tlenków pochodzenia korozyjnego. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę dendrytyczną. Twardość: 126 HV 0,15
