Abstract:

Four patients with aneurysm of the abdominal aorta were operated upon at the 1 st Surgical Clinic, Medical Academy in Warsaw. Resection of the aneurysm and grafting with woven dacron prosthesis was performed in two patients with the follow up period 6 months. In the other two patients intrasaccular wiring of the aneurysm was done. One patient died four years after „wiring”, the other one has remained well for 3 years.
