The results of experimental works upon cholangiography in the course of direct punction of the liver are presented. The experiments were performed in order to ascertain the degree of complication and the dangerousness of the method. The experiments were performed upon twenty dogs which had had previously performed a constriction of the common biliary duct. The paper persents the results of the experiments and the following conclusions:The presented method renders visible the biliary ducts in cases where an enlargement of the biliary intrahepatic ducts exists. The method presents a considerable diagnostic value in cases of differentiation between the mechanic and interstitial jaundice. In experimental conditions the mentioned method seemed safe and gave no direct complications.
