Abstract:

The author in summing up the sessions of the seminar organized by the Institute of Ecology, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw (February 16th-17th 1968) on the subject: consumer-food, puts forward and discusses the view that the attention paid to the theoretical considerations in contemporary research on productivity and energy flow through the ecological systems is insuffcient.
