Cykliny i kinazy CDK — białka regulujqce podziały komórkowe u Eucaryota
Committee on Biotechnology PAS ; Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry PAS
The cell division in Eukaryota is regulated by a protein complex consisting of p34‘^‘^‘^^ proteinkinase (or related CDK) and cyclin. The p34^*^ protein kinase plays a catalytic role, whereasthe cyclin moiety is a regulatory subunit. The p34‘^‘^‘^^/cyclin complex is required at two controlpoints of the cell cycle: between G1 and S phase and between G2 and mitosis. This paperpresents characterization of the key molecules regulating progression throughout the cell divisioncycle.
