Object description:

Sztylet (3 części) - Świątkowo pow. Żnin. Do analizy pobrano dwie próbki: CL-1486 A i CL-1486 B

Method of analysis:

Wstępne szlifowanie odbywało się na papierach karborundowych o ziarnistości 220, 320, 400 i 600 na mokro, następnie próbki wypolerowano w zwykły sposób na filcu za pomocą tlenku glinu. Próbki trawiono odczynnikiem składającym się z: 1 cz.25% NH3 + 1 cz.3% H202. Stosowano trawienie przez pocieranie w czasie od 3 do 15 sek.

Results:

Próbka CL- 1486D - W stanie nietrawionym obserwuje się bardzo dużą ilość tlenków miedzi oraz porów powstałych prawdopodobnie na skutek wykruszania się wtrąceń niemetalicznych. Po wytrawieniu stwierdzono budowę ziarnistą. Twardość: 99 HV 0,15. Przedmiot wykonano na drodze kucia prawdopodobnie na gorąco
