Abstract:
The article discusses the book on the Election Sejms in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth between 1632 and 1733. There viewed book examines the issue of the interregnum in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth as alegal system and the functioning of the state authorities during this period, especially the Sejms. At the same time, the book presents the procedural forms of Election Sejms in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, related to their operation and effective performance of tasks that were important for the state’s political system.
