Histological diagnosis: Angioma racemosum plexus chorio - idei? Haemorrhagia recens cerebelli Hydrooephalus internus subsequens.Autopsy examination of 69-year-old patient was performed. Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin and van Gieson. In the plexus, in addition to the usual vascular systems, several very large arteriovenous sinuses were found among the very hypertrophied stroma, with numerous calcifications in the lumen, in the vessel walls, and with extravasations into the stroma and surrounding area. The cerebellar hemorrhagic focus was very fresh, penetrating from the subarachnoid space deep into the tissue where very numerous round hemorrhages had formed. A distended inferior horn was visible in the occipital region, around which foci of hemorrhages from surrounding compressed vessels were observed.
