Wyprawa botaniczna Prof. Kazimierza Browicza na wyspę Kos w dniach od 28 maja do 15 czerwca 1993 roku. Badacz stwierdził, że na florę wyspy składa się 87 gatunków, w tym 12 odkrył poraz pierwszy. Są to: Amygdalus webbii Spach, Lonicera implexa Aiton, Lycium europaeum L., Medicago arborea L., Nicotiana europaeum L., Phillyrea latifolia L., Pistacia atlantica Desf., Populus alba L., Quercus infectoria G.Olivier, Rosa sempervirens L., Ruscus aculeatus L. i Tamarix tetrandra Pallas ex M.Bieb. Autor sporzadził także listę gatunków introdukowanych, sadzonych w parkach, przy ulicach i drogach, koło domów. Liczy ona 70 taksonów, z czego większość zaobserwowano w mieście Kos. Zbiory zielnikowe i notatki terenowe z tej wyprawy uzupełniły kartotekę flory wschodniego Śródziemnomorza gromadzoną systematycznie od kilku lat w Instytucie Dendrologii PAN w Kórniku. W oparciu o zgromadzone dane powstała jedna publikacja.
