Date issued/created: Subject and Keywords: Abstract:We try to explain the resistance of Poles (as well as Europeans) towards food biotechnology having in mind three factors: first we have to consider the influence of the media. The second factor influencing opinion of the society is trust in regulatory procedures. The last, third factor, is the role of knowledge in public perceptions.
